Brain Stimulation
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them.
Romans 12:6
A recent study conducted by scholars from China and Switzerland found they could use brain stimulation to make people more generous. Gently syncing two brain areas made people noticeably more generous, even when it ended up being costly to them.
The apostle Paul wanted to stimulate the brains and hearts of Christians by the power of the Word of God. So he said we should use our gifts generously, whether prophesying or ministry or teaching or exhorting or giving or leading or showing mercy (Romans 12:6-8).
Giving is tangible evidence of the reality of our love. We see God’s love all around us as we benefit from His blessings. So why would we not desire to do things for the Lord after all He has done for us? Whether it’s through tithing, getting involved in a church ministry, or serving others as He directs you, make a point to evidence your faith through giving.
All God’s giants have been weak men who did great things for God because they reckoned on His power and presence to be with them.

Rom 12:3-8
3 For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. 4 For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; 7 if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; 8 or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
Stimulating our brains with the Word of God and practicing the presence of God through prayer will most certainly lead to God’s will being enacted in our lives. God is the One who truly transforms a dead creature into a living one, a life lived for the One who created them to His praise and glory forevermore!
