The Power of +1
Many of us at the beginning of the new year make plans for a fresh start, new goals, and grand plans of changing ourselves for the better. There’s nothing wrong with that.
When we want to make a change for the greater good, and perhaps something much larger than we can imagine, the first step to actual change starts with you and me.
When we think about it, what can 1 person do? Yes! We can change. We can influence others, we can help our fellow man, but how does this change our family, our church, our city, our state, our country, or the world?
It really starts with +1.
If you want to bring change to your family, it starts with YOU.
If you want to bring change to your church, it starts with you and your family.
If you want to change your city, it can start with the church you are a part of.
You see the potential here!
Our greatest example of this was Jesus Christ. He is the + in the 1.
Plans for 2021
We know the potential of the +1 to change the lives of many Spanish speaking people with God’s eternal principles. We are over 65% of completing the translation and printing of the Life Essentials Study Bible into Spanish. The potential of a ripple effect among our Spanish brothers and sisters will do much more than we can ever imagine. It is the + in the 1. This year the Spanish translation will be completed. Preliminary testimonies show that this can change leaders, families, churches and, dare I say, a society? With God as the plus, transformation is inevitable.
As you begin 2021 and think of that 1, and changes to make in yourself, please remember the Center for Church Renewal and our Spanish Life Essentials Project.
We are praying for you, 1, and the power behind the change, +1. There is power in God's Word and we pray that the Bibles placed in the hands of those who need them most will use them and will empower those to make the greatest impact for God's Kingdom. We can indeed begin to pray and lift those up who will choose change using God's Word starting with the power of +1.
